Title VIII — Support
Article 206
ELI5— what this means for you
An illegitimate child is entitled to support from their biological father. The same rules (Art. 194–205) apply. Proof of filiation must first be established before support from the father can be compelled.
Key point
Illegitimate children have full right to support — but filiation must be proven first.
