Article 226
ELI5— what this means for you
The net proceeds of the child's property and labor shall primarily answer for the child's own support, education, and related expenses. Only when the child's property is insufficient will the parents' own means be used. Excess income of the child's property may be used for family needs if the child's needs are already fully met.
