Article 231
ELI5— what this means for you
A court may deprive parents of parental authority, or suspend it, on these grounds: (1) excessive harshness or cruelty toward the child; (2) giving the child corrupting orders or allowing the child to engage in degrading activities; (3) compulsion of the child to beg; (4) subjecting the child to acts of lasciviousness.
